Hi, I’m Teresa Smith—a Paediatric Speech Pathologist located in Buderim on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. I’m a neurodiversity affirming therapist, passionate about helping children aged 0 to 12 thrive in their communication, participation, and mealtime experiences. My goal is to empower parents with practical tools and strategies that support their child’s growth and confidence in communication.

What can a Speech Pathologist help with?

Speech Pathologists provide comprehensive assessment and therapy for children with:

  • Speech sound disorders

  • Language delay/disorder (including late talkers)

  • Literacy difficulties (reading, spelling)

  • Stuttering / Fluency

  • Social difficulties

  • Mealtime challenges

Parents can refer their child for Speech Therapy without having to see their GP or Paediatrician.
